About

Stephanie Quayle is a Nashville recording artist who tours the world with her music and an entrepreneur with her own record label, Big Sky Music Group. Rolling Stone Country called her “an artist you need to know,” CMT named her as part of its “Next Women of Country” franchise, and she’s appeared on popular programs like The Kelly Clarkson Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. As an indie artist with two Billboard charted singles, “Selfish” and “Whatcha Drinkin ’Bout,” she has repeatedly performed at CMA Fest and the Grand Ole Opry. The Montana native has teamed up with recognizable brands like Wrangler, Harley-Davidson, Bass Pro Shops, Montana Silversmiths, as well as Lucchese Bootmaker in the creation of her exclusive boot line. Quayle’s latest album On the Edge chronicles her personal experience in a toxic relationship and the healing she’s gone through since—inspiring others and redefining her future.

It is with great honor, joy, and a healthy dose of nerves that Stephanie shares with you her debut book, Why Do We Stay?. It will be on shelves April 30, 2024 and is available for preorder now online everywhere books are sold.

Why Do We Stay? is a continuation of the story she shared publicly for the first time on her album On the Edge, and with some additional insights from my friend W. Keith Campbell, PHD, they explore how to spot a toxic relationship, how to get out, and how to heal.

TODAY'S COUNTRY MAGAZINE: SINGLE REVIEW: STEPHANIE QUAYLE - WE BUY GOLD
Read More

Stephanie Quayle has certainly carved out her path in country music with several buzzed about single releases including “Winnebago,” “Drinking with Dolly,” “Whatcha Drinkin’ ‘Bout,” and “By Heart.”

She now returns with her brand-new single “We Buy Gold” - a song written by Park Chisolm, Anna Vaus, and Mark Irwin.

The mid-tempo melody slides right in line with the signature feel and sound that we’ve grown accustomed to from Quayle, and it weaves its way around a very strong lyric that while it looks at the negativity in the world, it truly focuses on still just going for it when it comes to falling in that once in a lifetime kind of love.

Relatable lines that focus on the common negative trends that the world today is experiencing include: “we live twice as long and stay together half as much,” “Marry too damn young and when we do it ain’t just once,” and “we earn twice as much but still don’t have a clue how to find real love.”

However, when Quayle flips the script in the chorus and focuses on the idea that you only live once so go for it when it comes to being in a real love, the song becomes ultra-positive as she describes a getting married scene that includes carving names on the wedding bands and tying tin cans to a car, before driving us to the hook, “in a world where nothing’s sure but growing old…we buy gold.”

Though the song was originally recorded years back, Quayle has patiently waited for the timing to be right to release it – The time is most definitely right!

Her back catalog already speaks for itself, she’s now made a very bold stamp on who she is as an artist, and with the release of this new single, she opens her next chapter while continuing to be deserving of heavy rotation airplay and spins on major market radio.

STEPHANIE QUAYLE CEMENTS EVERLASTING LOVE IN HER LATEST RELEASE "WE BUY GOLD"

https://www.newsbreak.com/news...Country music singer-songwriter and Big Sky Music Group recording artist, Stephanie Quayle, is celebrating unending love with her latest single, "We Buy Gold," which is available now. The track, written by Park Chisolm, Anna Vaus, and Mark Irwin, and produced by Alex Kline, is a testament to how even though the world could be falling down around us and there are a million reasons to travel through life alone, we still long for that connection that we can carry with us for a lifetime.

LISTEN: "We Buy Gold"

"Growing up, 'we buy gold' was a sign in the storefront of my dad’s shop. Buying gold was part of my dad’s work so the title had me from the start. I understood it. Then when I actually heard the song, it really got me - the curiosities of how everything can be falling apart and we still fall in love, pair off, get engaged, married...We still find and choose each other," says Stephanie.

She continues, "We recorded this song years back and it just wasn’t quite right. We held onto it because we knew it was special. When Alex [Kline] brought this to life in her 'Kline' way, the story and the feel unfolded perfectly. I felt this song on a whole other level when my younger brother, John, got married at our farm during the Pandemic. The message never felt so honest as it did in that moment. Love prevailed when every possible hurdle came to pass. We still buy gold."

"We Buy Gold" is Stephanie's third release in 2021 and rounds out a collection of songs that explore finding love and the journey that follows. Her most recently released tracks, "By Heart" and "Wild Frontier," beautifully set the stage for this next single and tell a story seemingly pulled from Stephanie's own life and romance with her husband.

Stay tuned for even more new music from Stephanie this year!
