Big Sky Music Group recording artist, Stephanie Quayle, has released her latest single, "Lone Ranger," available now. With a sound matching the spirit of the unbridled West and a message of finding that epic love - the one that no other can match - "Lone Ranger," written by Quayle, Andrew Scott Wills and Rick Huckaby, immediately grabs you by the heartstrings and leaves you with the feeling of romantic grandeur of a love for the ages.

LISTEN:     "Lone Ranger"

"This song is guttural when you soak it up and truly feel the weight of the lyrics," says Stephanie. "When I think about the kind of love that is so strong — so irreplaceable — that you’d rather be alone than with anyone else, that is that ‘once in a lifetime love.’  This song is a symbol of that statement, that sentiment. You’ve branded my heart so good; you’ve ruined me… it’s unbridled and intense — until forever ends."

Recently, Stephanie announced she is teaming up with iconic boot brand, Lucchese Bootmaker, on a signature line of Western lifestyle inspired boots and will be the face of the brand's upcoming Fall and Winter retail campaigns. Stephanie embodies the Western lifestyle and Lucchese in every way - from growing up on the boundless frontier of Montana, working on her North Carolina based, Summerfield Farms, and her inviting and connective performances on stages across the country.

Stephanie will also be headlining the Lucchese Listener Lounge Series which will include stops in Houston, College Station, Frisco, Fort Worth, Denver and Santa Fe - with additional stops to be added. Each performance will be a powered acoustic set to create an intimate and unique experience for Lucchese customers.

"I have been wearing boots my whole life, they remind me of where I have been and where I am going," says Quayle.  "My hope is that when women step into my line of artfully hand-crafted boots, that they feel a sense of confidence, joy, courage, resilience, determination, strength, and that beautiful spirit of the West."

Quayle represents the Western lifestyle in every way and embodies the brand from performing on the stage to working on her North Carolina based, Summerfield Farms, to exploring the boundless frontier riding her horses on her Montana ranch. The Lucchese Women's Lifestyle perfectly reflects women like Quayle, who wear their boots on the ranch, for a night out on the town or for everyday use.

Stephanie will also appear in the Fall and Winter retail campaigns with exclusive photo shoots to be conducted at Summerfield Farms and on her ranch in Montana.

"I already have thousands of miles in Lucchese’s — from trekking across airports, to hours in the saddle to countless stages across the world. It is such an honor to collaborate with the incredible craftsmanship of Lucchese and pull inspiration from the vintage pieces I’ve collected throughout the years to tell a new story through the ‘soles’ of these boots. The extraordinary craftspeople of Lucchese brought my vision to life with their attention to detail and the superb eye of designer Holly Mery," says Quayle.

In addition to the custom boot line, Quayle has also been tapped to headline the Lucchese Listener Lounge Series, which kicks off on August 12th at the brand's location in The Gulch area of Nashville, TN and will be available for fans to stream later this Fall.

STEPHANIE QUAYLE, A MUSICIAN WHO FOUND HER LOVE IN SONGS AND FARMS, WILL PERFORM IN GREENSBORO
Read More

Revered country music songwriter Harlan Howard once defined his genre as three chords and the truth. In theory, the recipe for a successful country music career requires at least one other specialized ingredient. To get the dish to come out right, it helps if the three-chorded truthtellers have an agrarian background as well. And while a passel of all-hat-and-no-cattle candidates abound and prosper, there’s nothing like a farm in your bio to give you a leg up in the biz.

Singer/songwriter Stephanie Quayle combines all the ingredients to create a tasty entrée that satisfies the heart, soul and body while keeping it down on the farm.

In her case, the farm is the 600-acre Summerfield Farms, a sprawling working cattle farm/community outreach/event destination she runs with her husband, David Couch. Quayle, a Bozeman, Mon., native raised on a farm, met Couch when she met with N.C. Commissioner of Agriculture Steve Troxler in 2012 about performing in Greensboro.

“As they were hiring me for the show, they were asking me, there’s a guy that’s involved with the event that has a farm, and there’s a cabin on this farm. You could stay there, or we could put you up in a hotel. And I was like, ‘I’m from Montana, so a cabin on the farm sounds right up my alley.’ And that was Summerfield Farms. So it’s pretty wild. Then cut to about a year and a half later — because we started dating in January of 2014 — that would be my future.”

In addition to her recording, performing and touring duties that have put her in the Top 10 female artists on country radio with hits including “Selfish” and “Whatcha Drinkin’ About,” Quayle is a hands-on presence in the farm’s ongoing activities.

“There’s this weird beautiful line with Montana and North Carolina,” Quayle says. The farm has hosted scores of families staying at the little cabins on their way to look at colleges in North Carolina or family reunions. “Once I got involved, I wanted to share this bond with the community, which has been a really beautiful thing, especially with what has been an especially challenging year, to have a place where the community could come and get some reprieve.”

I immediately thought of HitchSwitch for this video because they were a game changer for me, and I’m so passionate about sharing my story to help others too!"

"We Buy Gold" is Stephanie's third release in 2021 and rounds out a collection of songs that explore finding love and the journey that follows. The track, written by Park Chisolm, Anna Vaus, and Mark Irwin, and produced by Alex Kline, is a testament to how even though the world could be falling down around us and there are a million reasons to travel through life alone, we still long for that connection that we can carry with us for a lifetime.

Stephanie’s releases from earlier this year, "By Heart" and "Wild Frontier," beautifully offer the pre-text to “We Buy Gold” and tell a story seemingly pulled from Stephanie's own life and romance with her husband.

Stay tuned for even more new music from Stephanie this year!

BOZEMAN NATIVE USES NASHVILLE SUCCESS AS PLATFORM TO BENEFIT HUMAN TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS
Read More

Country Billboard-charting artist Stephanie Quayle is returning to her home state of Montana, and raising funds for a new safe house for human trafficking victims.

Quayle is releasing new music this year and about to start touring again. The Bozeman native has been recording in Nashville for 10 years and has performed at the Grand Ole Opry eight times.

On June 11, she'll be preforming to raise money for a new safe house the Lifeguard Group is building at an undisclosed location in the Bitterroot Valley, for victims getting out of the world of human trafficking.

"This is happening in our home state of Montana," Quayle said. "I'm a Montanan; born and raised. This is about all of our kids and having that awareness to keep our eyes and ears open. Lowell touches on so many things; not just the safe house, but helping missing persons and missing kids; being an active member of our community that is so extensive."

The Lifeguard Group nonprofit is halfway to its goal and hopes to open 15 beds in September.

"Victims don't leave the life of human trafficking because they have nowhere else to go," Lowell Hochhalter of the Lifeguard Group said. "Survivors who have walked out of the life and come back in have had nowhere to go. They say they were looking for ways to get out but there was nothing for them. They said, 'There was no therapy. There was no counselling. There was no safe place for us to go.'"

The group says more than 2 million victims are forced into a life of sex and labor trafficking across the country.

"Our doors will be open to any and all," Hochhalter said. "To be honest with you Heidi, if we were to open right now, we would be full. As soon as the word went out that we had purchased the property, the calls started coming in from as far away as Key West, Florida and California for placement. We have enough here in Montana, a survivor group we work with, We could be full with just Montana women tomorrow."

Quayle will perform to a group of 250 ticketholders at the "Taste of Freedom" event.

"One of the songs I love to play, because it's such a song of perseverance, is called Evel Knievel," Quayle said. "Obviously, he was from Butte, Montana. That song has done a lot of hearts a lot of good. I was one of the writers on it. Of course I'll play Whatcha Drinkin 'Bout and Selfish. Those are my two songs that went up the country billboard charts."

The Taste of Freedom fundraiser takes place Friday, June 11 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 2036 US Highway 93 in Victor, at Montana Custom Log Homes. The group is selling 250 tickets. 50 will be VIP tickets that will include a visit with Quayle. To purchase tickets visit the Lifeguard Group on Facebook.

Stephanie Quayle is taking her storytelling to new levels with a new music video and Instagram series. The just-released "Wild Frontier: Women of the West" music video — premiering exclusively on Taste of Country — offers evidence of the singer's bold thesis statement.

"If you ask me, the women of the West is how the West was won," Quayle says ahead of her new video's release. Throughout the clip you'll find the Montana native singing her new song between scenes of rodeo queens, entrepreneurs and athletes doing what they do to inspire the next generation.

"This concept video for 'Wild Frontier' is all about sharing their legacies and continuing the message of the cowgirl heart — it’s not about fitting in, it’s about breaking the mold," Quayle says.

Among the featured "women of the West" are Catie Kershner of Kershner Custom Silver, a Cowgirl Magazine 30 Under 30 honoree, and Ja'Dayia Kursh, Miss Rodeo Coal Hill, Ark., who became the first Black rodeo queen in her state.

"The best way to share our message forward is to watch cowgirls ‘do,’" Quayle says, continuing, "and for young girls to look up to them and know that this wild frontier is ours for the taking — to create, respect and push ourselves without limits.”

"Wild Frontier" is Quayle's most recent release on Big Sky Music Group. The song — available on digital streaming platforms now — follows popular titles including "Selfish" and "Drinking With Dolly."

SOUNDS LIKE NASHVILLE: STEPHANIE QUAYLE SOARS ON SPELLBINDING ‘WE BUY GOLD’
Read More

Country singer-songwriter Stephanie Quayle is reveling in blissful romance on her brand new song, “We Buy Gold.”

The mid-tempo tune packs energy and passion as Quayle chronicles the journey of a beautiful relationship. “We buy gold Carve our names into the band / Say a vow, say a prayer / Slip it on each other’s hand / Tie some tin cans to the car / Drive away and cross our hearts / In a world where nothing’s sure, but growing old,” the Bozeman, Montana native sings on the stirring chorus, reminding listeners of the triumphant power of true love.

“Growing up, ‘we buy gold’ was a sign in the storefront of my dad’s shop. Buying gold was part of my dad’s work so the title had me from the start. I understood it,” Quayle recalls in a press statement. “Then when I actually heard the song, it really got me—the curiosities of how everything can be falling apart and we still fall in love, pair off, get engaged, married…We still find and choose each other.”

“We recorded this song years back and it just wasn’t quite right. We held onto it because we knew it was special. When Alex [Kline] brought this to life in her ‘Kline’ way, the story and the feel unfolded perfectly,” Quayle says of the track, which was penned by Anna Vaus, Mark Irwin and Paul Chisolm, and produced by Kline.

“I felt this song on a whole other level when my younger brother, John, got married at our farm during the Pandemic. The message never felt so honest as it did in that moment. Love prevailed when every possible hurdle came to pass. We still buy gold.”

“We Buy Gold” is Quayle’s follow-up to “By Heart” and “Wild Frontier,” both of which were released earlier by Big Sky Music Group this year. Fans can expect even more new music from the country singer later this year.

TODAY'S COUNTRY MAGAZINE: SINGLE REVIEW: STEPHANIE QUAYLE - WE BUY GOLD
Read More

Stephanie Quayle has certainly carved out her path in country music with several buzzed about single releases including “Winnebago,” “Drinking with Dolly,” “Whatcha Drinkin’ ‘Bout,” and “By Heart.”

She now returns with her brand-new single “We Buy Gold” - a song written by Park Chisolm, Anna Vaus, and Mark Irwin.

The mid-tempo melody slides right in line with the signature feel and sound that we’ve grown accustomed to from Quayle, and it weaves its way around a very strong lyric that while it looks at the negativity in the world, it truly focuses on still just going for it when it comes to falling in that once in a lifetime kind of love.

Relatable lines that focus on the common negative trends that the world today is experiencing include: “we live twice as long and stay together half as much,” “Marry too damn young and when we do it ain’t just once,” and “we earn twice as much but still don’t have a clue how to find real love.”

However, when Quayle flips the script in the chorus and focuses on the idea that you only live once so go for it when it comes to being in a real love, the song becomes ultra-positive as she describes a getting married scene that includes carving names on the wedding bands and tying tin cans to a car, before driving us to the hook, “in a world where nothing’s sure but growing old…we buy gold.”

Though the song was originally recorded years back, Quayle has patiently waited for the timing to be right to release it – The time is most definitely right!

Her back catalog already speaks for itself, she’s now made a very bold stamp on who she is as an artist, and with the release of this new single, she opens her next chapter while continuing to be deserving of heavy rotation airplay and spins on major market radio.

Big Sky Music Group singer-songwriter, Stephanie Quayle, continues her journey through love with her upcoming release, "We Buy Gold," available everywhere on May 14th. The track, written by Park Chisolm, Anna Vaus, and Mark Irwin, is a testament to how even though the world could be falling down around us and there are a million reasons to travel through life alone, we still long for that connection that we can carry with us for a lifetime.

Pre-Save "We Buy Gold"

"Growing up, 'we buy gold' was a sign in the storefront of my dad’s shop. Buying gold was part of my dad’s work so the title had me from the start. I understood it. Then when I actually heard the song, it really got me - the curiosities of how everything can be falling apart and we still fall in love, pair off, get engaged, married...We still find and choose each other," says Stephanie.

She continues, "We recorded this song years back and it just wasn’t quite right. We held onto it because we knew it was special. When Alex [Kline] brought this to life in her 'Kline' way, the story and the feel unfolded perfectly. I felt this song on a whole other level when my younger brother, John, got married at our farm during the Pandemic. The message never felt so honest as it did in that moment. Love prevailed when every possible hurdle came to pass. We still buy gold."

"We Buy Gold" follows Stephanie's recent releases, "By Heart" and "Wild Frontier" - in collection, each of the three tracks lays a roadmap that mirrors her own journey through love with her husband. From the first meeting and getting to know each other to the boundless opportunities ahead and finally, buying the gold that solidifies a partnership in love.

Stay tuned for even more new music from Stephanie this year!

PROJECT MFG TAPS COUNTRY MUSIC STAR AND ENTREPRENEUR STEPHANIE QUAYLE AS HOST FOR PILOT EPISODE OF CLASH OF TRADES
Read More

Four student team finalists compete in the Project MFG National Challenge, a skilled trades competition, for a chance to win scholarships, prizes and title of national champion. The competition was filmed at each school in March and premieres as the pilot of Clash of Trades in April to celebrate National Welding Month. Hosting the show is Stephanie Quayle, Big Sky Music Group recording artist, CMT "Next Women of Country" inductee and entrepreneur.

The teams from Danville Community College, Calhoun Community College, Tennessee College of Applied Technology, and Southwestern Illinois College were selected based on rigorous judging of a complex advanced manufacturing project and conclude the 2020 competition series that was delayed due to COVID-19. Each team is comprised of current or recently graduated students who are learning a skilled trade. The teams work together in a challenge that mirrors real-world, hands-on skillsets needed to succeed in advanced manufacturing.

The pilot episode of Clash of Trades premieres on YouTube on April 20, 2021, at 7 p.m CDT. The show will provide an engaging look at each team’s story and their approach to completing the challenge, which will be judged by a panel of expert judges and woven into the show format. The show intends to change the perception of the skilled trades by highlighting the stories of individuals entering the field and the high- tech, future-focused work being done in the U.S. manufacturing industry. Eligible trade students who register to view Clash of Trades on April 20 can enter a chance to win a $2500 scholarship (no purchase necessary, void where prohibited).

The manufacturing industry is experiencing exponential change and new technologies are not eliminating jobs as some predicted. Studies have found the reverse – more jobs are being created (2018 skills gap in manufacturing study). The skills gap may leave more than 2 million positions unfilled if more young people don’t enter the skilled trades. The US Department of Defense declared this deficit as one of the most vital challenges for the US defense industrial base.

AMERICAN SONGWRITER: STEPHANIE QUAYLE EVOKES HER NATIVE LANDSCAPE WITH UPCOMING ALBUM
Read More

Stephanie Quayle, a seasoned cowgirl, steps further into her artistry, bearing fruits from 2020. Hailing from Bozeman, Montana, the emerging country artist grew up working on a bison and cattle ranch. Looking at her mother’s gritted determination, Quayle refused minor setbacks and outdated industry standards to fence in her destined path to perform country music.  Recently named the First Female Country Music Ambassador for Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s,  the artist reveals a new chapter in her music career with songs recorded remotely from familiar turf.

Quayle & producer and songwriter Alex Kline will be getting together on Wednesday, March 24 at 5 p.m. CT to host a FB livestream conversation about her latest collection of music, what it was like recording during the COVID pandemic, and being women in the industry. Tune in to Stephanie’s Facebook page or American Songwriter’s Facebook page to be a part of the chat.

Quayle’s latest single, “Wild Frontier,” is her love story. Released March 19, the galloping track is a forward step in her most intimate project to date. Recorded almost entirely virtually from home with breakout female producer Alex Kline, “Wild Frontier,” was written by a rock-solid team of Nashville tunesmiths—Maren Morris, Shane McAnally, and Ross Copperman. The lyrics transform her native landscape into a metaphor for the “unchartered territory” of newfound love. Though penned by others, the song story places the artist back where she first met her husband, David.

COUNTRY AIRCHECK: SKY IS LIMITLESS FOR QUAYLE, KANE
Read More

The little Rebel Engine that did, Stephanie Quayle, took control of her career in 2013 through the launch of her own label and entertainment company. Quayle enlisted Carli McLaughlin Kane in 2015 and, by Oct. 2017, Kane was running the business. On the heels of announcing their more widely focused new venture Big Sky Music (CAT 2/2), the duo spoke with Country Aircheck about mission, identity and goals for 2021 and beyond. “This is something Carli and I had been discussing this past year – how much change we were wanting to create,” begins Quayle. “Things we wanted to leave behind, some of the lessons we’ve learned, what we envisioned as the next part of our business partnership.”

Quayle is the label’s flagship artist, although they’ve already received submissions, while Kane is running the company and eyeing expansion. “We’re putting in a structure and plans to take on more artists and be a home for great talent,” says Kane.

The mission of being a “safe, inclusive, supportive home” for artists and creators with an emphasis on collaboration was born from Quayle’s personal experience in the industry … good and bad. “It goes back to when I first moved to town,” she says. “People would come into my life and say, ‘You’re great, now let’s change everything.’” This, coupled with seeing young, female artists being signed, shelved and dropped, drove Quayle to create another way, not only for herself, but for others. “That was part of the [previous] name, I mean, I’m the little Rebel Engine,” she laughs.

STEPHANIE QUAYLE EMBRACES THE BOUNDLESS HORIZON WITH HER LATEST SINGLE "WILD FRONTIER"

Big Sky Music Group recording artist, Stephanie Quayle, has released her latest single, "Wild Frontier," available now wherever you find great music. The track continues the story of Stephanie's journey through love which began with her latest release earlier this year, "By Heart." As she continues to evolve both personally and as an artist, she is inviting fans to join her every step of the way with her latest collection of music that tells a story of finding and fighting for love.

LISTEN:      "Wild Frontier"

Recorded almost entirely virtually from home with breakout female producer Alex Kline, "Wild Frontier," was written by a team of powerhouse songwriters - Maren Morris, Shane McAnally, and Ross Copperman. The song explores the vast and limitless connection to those we love and that even through life's darkest and overwhelming moments, there's an unwavering anchor there to bring you back home.

"I remember driving down that gravel road for the first time with my whole future on the horizon as the dirt and rocks kicked up behind me," says Stephanie. "I didn’t know my whole world would change that day as I headed towards my now husband. This song is my life, and Montana is the backdrop to our love story — it has been from the very start.  Wildly, the pens of Maren, Shane and Ross, captured the spirit of what we think is a legendary love. To be with someone and not need to “tame each other”— these words spoke to me.  And I know there are other couples out there that feel this kind of “no fences” love out there too. This song paints that vast picture that you can just get lost in."

“‘Wild Frontier’ feels like an extension of ‘By Heart.’ So much so that we leaned into visually connecting the songs to tell this story in the artwork too,” shares Stephanie. “I’m definitely more vulnerable than I’ve ever been with this project -- even down to making sure we included that very gravel road that led me to love.”

Stay tuned for a third track from Stephanie this Spring which will round out the first chapter of her upcoming music collection where she continues exploring life and love.

WRANGLER: INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY - GRIT, MEET GRACE
Read More

At 22 years old, singer-songwriter Stephanie Quayle had a moment of reckoning when she was told she was too old to break into the music business. “That just got branded into my brain because I never was raised to adhere to other people’s rules or fences,” recalls Quayle. Stepping up to the challenge with the ease of a seasoned cowgirl, Quayle formed her own label, Rebel Engine Entertainment, with a vision to empower talented women in the industry, some of whom were facing a myriad of challenges; for example, being sidelined and eventually dropped based on their perceived age value. “You can’t let anyone determine you’re done. You make that choice,” Quayle says. “That was one of the reasons I started my own company — to inspire that message of limitlessness.”

Quayle earned her tenacity, as well as her unbridled vision, growing up in Montana on a working bison and cattle ranch. “I was on the back of a horse before I could walk, you know? I was teeny tiny. You fall down, you’re in the dirt. My mom just dusted off my knees and put me back in the saddle and that was it. That’s just what I’ve done my whole life,” she says. For Quayle, her mom has been a model of resilience. “My mom taught me to ride horses. She is the west — grit and grace.” Even today, Quayle’s mom manages her own ranch. “She’s 72 years old. There’s no end to her. I think she’s my compass when it comes to choosing who to be like and become.” Now that she’s an adult, Quayle embodies the same spirit and determination as her mother, concentrating her efforts on forging a path for women in the entertainment industry. “What you see is women continuing to rise, create and do,” she says. “It’s one of the things I’ve really focused on — doing more and talking less. So that we show versus tell. Keep showing up and creating larger platforms for women in our genre. That’s very much my focus, that’s the hat I have on right now.” Quayle continues to lead by example by launching her new record label, management and entertainment company, Big Sky Music Group. The company is focused not only on signing top talent but also on providing mentorship to incoming talent, with a mission “to be a safe, inclusive and supportive home for artists and creators poised to positively impact female artists and young professionals starting out on their journey.” “I feel this is my purpose, my must. There’s such a need for more women to spread this message of, ‘No, you absolutely can and will.’ It doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy but who wants things to be easy?” Quayle emphasizes, “You gotta earn it. And then you get to own that. You know that you earned it. That’s a powerful way to walk through life. That’s grit and grace.” Visit www.bigskymusicgroup.com to learn more about Quayle’s recent endeavors.

“This song [By Heart] is simply complex. Love is supposed to be simple, and it’s also very complex…What’s interesting about [this song], is that, to me, it symbolizes the beginning of my relationship with my husband, but also, through the course of these last months, I’ve gotten to know him in ways that I never expected,” the Bozeman, Montana native and wife of David Couch, says in her bio, posted on her official website. “It’s that curiosity of wanting to know everything about the person you love; from start to, well, forever.”

AMERICAN SONGWRITER: STEPHANIE QUAYLE CAPTURES LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE WITH "BY HEART"

Stephanie Quayle is a fairly new songwriter. Originally from Bozeman, Montana, the pop-country storyteller began releasing music with 2016’s “Drinking with Dolly” and co-wrote such songs as “Selfish,” “I’ve Got Your Six,” and “Post It” (from 2017’s debut record, Love the Way You See Me). But she didn’t start actively flexing her own songwriting muscles until about a year or two ago.

“You get to see everything from the front view. You have to stay focused on what’s in front of you. I think that’s a really good metaphor for where I am,” Quayle tells American Songwriter of her songwriting journey. “Yes, everything in my rearview is still there, and I can look back and learn, but I’m really focused on what’s in front of me.”

It seems fitting 2020 would be the year of her greatest personal and professional growth. Locked in her home, like most of us, Quayle dug her heels into virtual songwriting sessions and deep introspection. She had nothing but time, after all.
